Our Development Worker offers assistance to community and voluntary groups and organisations in Rushcliffe, whatever their size or activity.
This includes
- Setting up a new group or project
- Writing a constitution or other governing document
- Applying for charitable status
- Developing policies and procedures
- Raising and managing funds
- Insurance, Health and Safety, Disclosure and Barring Service checks (previously CRBs)
- Roles and responsibilities of trustees and committee members
- Training for groups and individuals
- Publicity and promotion
- Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
- Equal Opportunities
- Recruiting and managing volunteers
- Linking with other organisations and agencies
