Our Development Worker offers assistance to community and voluntary groups and organisations in Rushcliffe, whatever their size or activity. 

This includes

  • Setting up a new group or project
  • Writing a constitution or other governing document
  • Applying for charitable status
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Raising and managing funds
  • Insurance, Health and Safety, Disclosure and Barring Service checks (previously CRBs)
  • Roles and responsibilities of trustees and committee members
  • Training for groups and individuals
  • Publicity and promotion
  • Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Equal Opportunities
  • Recruiting and managing volunteers
  • Linking with other organisations and agencies
