What is the Community Cohesion Network?

Rushcliffe Community Cohesion Network aims to promote, encourage and support the development of a cohesive community in Rushcliffe

We aspire for Rushcliffe to be a place where:

Everyone has an equal chance to live, play, learn and work free from any form of discrimination or prejudice. We want communities to live in harmony and mutuality - understanding, valuing, respecting and celebrating diversity.  A place where there is a strong sense of trust in institutions locally to act fairly and a community in which people feel able to participate

Essentially a  ‘network of networks’ RCCN has established itself as an important communications channel between multi sector organisations, agencies and decision making structures.

Members receive regular emails and opportunities to attend events.

Our aims are:

  • To promote awareness and understanding of diverse communities and community cohesion issues in Rushcliffe
