Community Involvement Worker (Maternity Leave Cover)
Rushcliffe Sure Start Children’s Centre
37 hours per week £22,221
Appointment until March 2011 initially
This post will be responsible for building community involvement for the Rushcliffe Sure Start Children’s Centres by:
-
Encouraging and enabling the involvement of parents/carers and relevant community groups in the planning, management and delivery of services

Help parents/carers to access work and training
-
Develop and maintain excellent communication with families and local organisations to ensure that they are regularly informed of activities and services available at the Centre
We are looking for applicants with relevant qualifications and experience, and who are fully committed to the Every Child Matters agenda. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who is able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the needs of parents and young children.
The successful candidate will be required to receive a satisfactory enhanced level Criminal Records Bureau report.
This post is funded through Nottinghamshire County Council
