Rushcliffe Befriends Project Vacancies
Rushcliffe Community and Voluntary Service has two vacancies for the Rushcliffe Befriends Project: 
Project Coordinator28 hours per week £22,221 - per annum, (pro rata)
A suitably experienced person is required to develop and coordinate a new befriending project aimed at helping older people become less isolated and become more active in their community through a volunteer befriending programme. The post will involve the recruitment, training and support of volunteers, assessment of scheme users in their own homes and developing partnerships with a range of organisations.
The person appointed will have experience of working within voluntary or statutory organisations that serve the needs of older people. In addition they will have experience of, and be committed to, good practice in volunteer management.
Excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities are essential.
The post will be based in our West Bridgford office and extensive travel is a requirement of the post. Confirmation of appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced with List Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Information Worker7 hours per week £17,161 per annum (pro rata)
This new post will assist the Rushcliffe Befriends Project Coordinator in the development and delivery of Rushcliffe Befriends, with a particular responsibility to develop, manage and maintain an accessible information service for the project .
Duties will include managing input of project information to the database, researching and producing an up to date Information Directory and ensuring its dissemination to volunteers, service users and partners.
This post requires someone with clear communication skills, experience of information systems and excellent ICT skills. Skills in desk top publishing and / or photoshop desirable
