Ian has worked at a senior level in the voluntary sector (national and local) for over 30 years. He joined RCVS in February 2001 and is responsible for implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation; working with the Chairperson, Wendy Edwards, to enable the Management Committee to fulfil its governance function; and to give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organisation's philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.

BME Carer's Support Worker
Seema has joined us to start up a new project that seeks to improve support and advice to people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who care for others. Born in India and with experience of working with many different community groups, Seema brings a wealth of relevant experience and knowledge to the post. She speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu. Seema will be working with voluntary and community groups across Rushcliffe, Gedling and Broxtowe to research services available to carers and identify gaps in services. Seema will also be visiting carers referred to her, either by themselves or by others, to offer support and advice. Seema works full-time and is based at Park Lodge

Office Manager
Carole has worked as the Office Manager for 5 years. Carole's roles and responsibilities are wide ranging and include management of personnel, finance and all administrative services for the organisation. She is line manager to the admin and information team and also oversees the running of the Voluntary Transport Scheme. Carole works 27 hours per week.

Community Involvement Worker
Susan has worked for Rushcliffe CVS since October 2007. Susan works on a part-time basis from Mondays-Thursdays, and is based at Cotgrave Children's Centre. She takes responsibility for consulting users at the Centre, and the wider community, on aspects of activities, courses and new initiatives run through the Centre, which she then promotes to community organisations. She also organises the Parents' Forum in order to support parents to contribute and influence the delivery plan. Other strands to the role include managing volunteers within the Centre, supporting parents who would like to return to work and/or further education, and organising courses with
South
Notts
College as requested by parents.

Development Worker
Activity Friends Coordinator
Lindsay works part time as a Development Worker and part time as the Activity Friends Co-ordinator.
As a Development Worker Lindsay gives information, advice and support to help develop and manage groups, organisations or projects. She can help with issues such as writing a constitution, raising funds, governance and good practice (e.g. policies and procedures, trustee roles and responsibilities, supporting volunteers), training and publicity. Lindsay is also responsible for facilitating the Rushcliffe Community Cohesion Network.
As the Activity Friends Coordinator Lindsay is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers who provide encouragement and support to older people in helping them become more active. She works in partnership with multi sector organisations and agencies. The project aims to help older people to access the service and to provide a range of activities to improve health and well being.

Health Development Worker
Sue has worked for Rushcliffe CVS since July 1999 as a Health Development Worker. She works with
NHS
County and Principia Health staff to support and promote the Patient and Public Involvement work in Rushcliffe. A large part of her role is working with members of the public who have shown an interest in becoming involved in the health agenda. She is responsible for facilitating the Rushcliffe Diabetes Forum and Rushcliffe 50+ Forum Health Sub Group and supports the Principia Rushcliffe Health Network and Rushcliffe Cancer Forum meetings. Sue has helped various groups with information/funding advice to enable health events to take place in Rushcliffe and is happy to help any group who would like to improve the health and well being of there group. Sue works 15hours a week Tuesday - Thursday and is currently based at Rushcliffe Civic Centre.

First Contact Signposting Scheme Coordinator (Rushcliffe)
Arun joined us in May 2010 to take over coordinating the scheme for the Rushcliffe area. A large part of his role involves engaging with older peoples groups in the community and maintaining partnership working with a wide range of statutory and voluntary organisations that are involved in the First Contact Scheme.
Arun works Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.30am to 5.00pm and Thursdays 9.30am to 2.30pm. Arun is based at the Civic Centre.

Assistant Transport Organiser
Alison has worked for Rushcliffe CVS for nearly 10 years, starting on a 1-year contract as a Receptionist. Alison works closely with Jayne, our Transport Coordinator, to book journeys and organise transport for the 350 passengers registered on our Transport Scheme. Alison also takes responsibility for Health and Safety, premises and housekeeping issues. She works part-time Monday to Thursday mornings.

Jessica has been with RCVS since May 2007. Her previous role was as our Community Outreach Advisor, but has recently taken up a new role to set up the Housing Choices project.
The Housing Choices Advisor role involves giving advice, support and information to older people about the housing choices that might be available to them. The aim of the project is to encourage people to think ahead about their longer-term housing situation, and make informed decisions to ensure that they can stay as independent as possible.
Jessica is now based at Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Civic Centre in the Housing Options team, and usually works Monday – Thursday.

Development Manager
Carolyn has worked at as part of the Development Team for over 10 years, and as the Development Manager for 4 years. Carolyn engages with community and voluntary groups and organisations as well as partner agencies to identify and address relevant issues, and plays a key role in strategic partnerships. She is line manages to the Development Team and oversees the Development Projects of Rushcliffe CVS. Carolyn works full-time and is based at Park Lodge.

Information and Finance Worker
Carole has worked for RCVS for 6 years starting for 10 hours a week as a general admin assistant and progressing to 23.5 hours a week as an information (and finance) worker. Her responsibilities include looking after the main RCVS database and producing a monthly newsletter. During this time, she has overseen the transformation of the newsletter from paper based to electronic. Communications Administrator
Emily has worked for Rushcliffe CVS for four years and has taken on a number of different roles in that time. She currently takes responsibility for designing and producing our publications, maintaining the website, marketing and managing the organisation's I.T. and monitoring. She also provides administrative support to the office, projects and transport scheme. Emily works part time on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and is based at Park Lodge.

Housing Choices Assistant
Emily works for 10.5 hours a week as a Housing Choices Assistant to Jessica Molineaux - Housing Choices Advisor. The Housing Choices Advice Service gives older people information and support in making decisions about their future housing options. She is based at the Civic Centre with Jessica on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings.

Transport Co-ordinator
Jayne joined us in January of this year as our Transport Coordinator. She takes responsibility for managing the Scheme - organising transport for the 350 passengers registered, administratering the scheme and managing the recruitment and induction of new volunteer drivers. Community Involvement Worker
Nivita works full-time as a Community Involvement Workers for the Children's Centres in the west area of Rushcliffe: Keyworth, West Bridgford, East Leake and Ruddington. Nivita's role is to encourage and enable more parents, carers and community groups to be involved in the planning, management and delivery of services. She also helps parents and carers to access work and training.

Receptionist and Admin Assistant
Karl has been working for our organisation for almost a year. As a receptionist, Karl meets and greets visitors to the office, deals with telephone enquiries and makes bookings for appointments and hire of equipment and rooms. He also assists with the admin tasks for the office and various projects. Karl works 16 hours a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Sandy is the newest member of the Community Involvement Workers Team. She works part time 17 hours a week and is based at Bigham Children's Centre (Rushcliffe East). Her role is to encourage and enable parents, carers and relevant community groups to be involved in the planning, management and delivery of services. She also helps parents to access work and training.

First Contact Signposting Scheme Coordinator (Gedling and Broxtowe)
Bev recently joined our team in 2010 to take on coordinating the First Contact Scheme for the boroughs of Gedling and Broxtowe. Bev works closely with partner agencies including the Fire Service, Pension Scheme and Borough Councils as part of the First Contact Scheme to enable older people to easily access the services they need to stay living independently and safely in their own homes. Bev works for 28 hours a week.

I have been the Coordinator at the Visitor Centre since June 2006 when the project first opened. David then joined the project in March 2007 Our responsibilities include ensuring that visitors fully understand and are supported through the visits process here at HMP Whatton. It is our continual aim to try and improve the visitor experience and help them through what can be an extremely difficult and anxious time. We are also helped in this aim by a team of dedicated volunteers.
